Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for employment in Japan, you generally need to meet the following criteria:
- ✓Minimum age of 18 years
- ✓Good physical & mental health with a clean criminal record
- ✓JLPT N4 level or JFT-Basic Japanese language certification
- ✓Pass a sector-specific skills proficiency test
- ✓13+ years of school education (or equivalent)
- ✓Valid Sri Lankan passport
- ✓TITP completers may be exempt from language & skills tests
